Condé Nast Design System

2018 – Present

A design system that seeks to power all of Condé Nast’s online properties: 20+ of the most iconic titles in media including The New Yorker, Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair and others, serving 120M+ readers a month. Each of these websites have varying digital products and services carrying vastly different styles and identities. The goal is for each property to look and feel unique to its brand but work under one universal application.

This work is ongoing.

Golf Digest Schools

2017

Golf Digest’s consumer revenue product, a premium video subscription service for golfers looking to improve their game. Users can watch highly-produced instructional material and gather actionable tips and exclusive training from the best instructors in the business. A “Netflix-meets-Coursera” for golfers of all levels.

GQ Best Stuff Newsletter

2017

GQ’s email affiliate program from its “Best Stuff” vertical. Using components built out from the GQ galleries project (see below) combined with the existing system from the expanded newsletter strategy, it seeks to create a direct consumer relationship leveraging one of the most trusted recommendation sources for men around the world.

2017

One of GQ’s most popular consumer facing products, the newly improved galleries houses an immersive experience regardless of device, optimized for completion rate and recirculation, and is made to be flexible with powerful commerce and sponsorship capabilities.

Golf World

2016 – 2017

A historic title and the oldest continuous brand in golf journalism, Golf World was revived by parent brand Golf Digest as its own digital property to house their in-depth reporting, longform articles, and special features. Read the introduction from its editor-in-chief.

Condé Nast Experience Platform

2016

Early proof-of-concept for a multibrand, multiproduct design system that would share reusable components, best practices, and an entirely new method of working for the 100-year old media company as it seeks to reimagine media at software speed.

Brides

2016

The oldest running wedding magazine, Brides launched a redesign of its website with a visual overhaul, improved information architecture, and a new inspiration gallery to better showcase its luxury appeal and incredible utility as the best in-depth resource for brides-to-be.

Apploi

2015 – 2016

A B2B2C company seeking to modernize the sourcing and application process for hourly workers. For businesses, it provides an enterprise dashboard used by hiring managers and business owners to post jobs and find the right candidates in a faster, smarter, and more effective way. For job seekers, it has a mobile-first application with a personal application process.
